different file naming conventions, this program will help you to get your MP3 files
organized the way you like in an easy manner. It will also allow you to update the ID3
Tags.
Key Benefits
All the text boxes on the Main tab support drag & drop. This makes it easier to fill
in the ID3 Tag fields. To use drag & drop just select text in the standard way, then
click within the selected text and drag to another text box. The dropped text will always
append to any existing text in the box. At times it might seen that you are
"stuck" in drag & drop mode. To force an exit, just click outside to
selected text, or press the "home" or "end" keys to unselect the text.
The Rules tab offers many ways to automate renaming. You can use the text replacement
boxes to change one to many characters to zero or more characters. Ex., To change
underscores "_" to space " ", check a replacement box and put the
underscore in the from box and type a space in the to box. The reverse operation is also
possible.
The Construct Destination name allows you to quickly build the destination file name
from the ID3 Tag fields. You can specify which ID3 Tag field(s) to use, and in what order
to use them. You can also put constants (special characters) within the name.
